Habitachon: Build the Bitachon Habit

A Hashem's Got You daily practice
Daily Habitachon

Day 5

Bitachon Means Trusting Hashem, Not People or Plans

“He will be left in the hands of the one he trusted.”

Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon

Who’s Really Running Your Life?

We all have things we lean on.

Money. A job. A doctor. A relationship. A plan we are sure has to work.

The danger is when those things stop being tools and start becoming the place where we put our trust.

Because everything in this world is fragile. People change. Plans fall apart. Money disappears. Systems fail.

Only Hashem is constant.

Bitachon means using the tools Hashem gives you without forgetting Who is really running your life.

Reflection

Who or what have you been depending on to “make things work”?
Your job? Your intelligence? A particular person?
Bitachon means reminding yourself:
“No one else is running this show.”

Today’s Avodah

Think of one area where your heart has been leaning too heavily on something or someone.
Say:
“Hashem, I may need to use this person, plan, or tool. But my trust is not in them. My trust is in You.”

Today’s rep is complete.

Carry today’s avodah with you and return tomorrow.

Pass it forward

Bitachon needs daily reps

What is Habitachon?

Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.

The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.

Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.

Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.
