Hishtadlut Does Not Weaken Bitachon
Pursuing the causes of livelihood need not damage a person's complete trust in Hashem.
Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon
You Can Work Hard and Still Trust
Sometimes people worry that taking too much practical action means their bitachon is weak. Rabbeinu Bachya says using the causes of parnassah does not have to damage complete trust in Hashem. The real question is what is happening inside while you act. You can prepare, call, negotiate, plan, and work while knowing those actions are tools. Your heart can stay with Hashem while your hands are busy.

What is Habitachon?
Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.
The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.
Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.
Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.
