You Don’t Need the Whole Explanation
Hashem’s ways are too deep for us to fully understand even their parts.
Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon
Some Questions Stay Open
A lot of us keep looking for the explanation that will finally make a painful or confusing situation feel okay. Sometimes an answer comes. Sometimes it does not. Rabbeinu Bachya says there are real limits to how much of Hashem’s ways we can understand. Some questions stay open. You can say, “I don’t understand this,” without making understanding a condition for trusting Him.
Reflection
What am I still demanding an explanation for before I let myself trust?
Today’s Avodah
Say: “Hashem, I don’t understand this yet. I’m still choosing to place it with You.”
Carry today’s avodah with you and return tomorrow.

What is Habitachon?
Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.
The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.
Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.
Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.
