Habitachon: Build the Bitachon Habit

A Hashem's Got You daily practice
Daily Habitachon

Day 51

Where Is Your Heart Leaning?

His heart relies on the one he trusts, confident he will do what is good for him.

Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon

Use the Tool. Watch Where You Lean.

We all use tools: a job, a doctor, an advisor, a plan. Trouble starts when one of those tools becomes the thing our heart needs in order to feel safe. Rabbeinu Bachya describes trust as the heart leaning on the one it trusts. Use the tool. Make the call. Take the advice. Just notice where your heart is putting its weight.

Reflection

What person, plan, or tool has started carrying too much of my sense of security?

Today’s Avodah

Before you use one important tool today, say, “Hashem, I’ll use this. I’m leaning on You.”

Today’s rep is complete.

Carry today’s avodah with you and return tomorrow.

Bitachon needs daily reps

What is Habitachon?

Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.

The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.

Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.

Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.
