People Don’t Hold Your Future
A person's benefit and harm are not in human control, but in the Creator's hand alone.
Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon
Keep Their Power in Perspective
A boss can make a decision that affects you. A doctor can give an opinion that changes your next step. Someone can say no, walk away, or make life harder. Rabbeinu Bachya still tells us not to give people independent control in our minds. They live inside Hashem’s world too. Take them seriously when you need to. Just do not turn them into the owner of your future.
Reflection
Who have I been treating like they hold too much power over my future?
Today’s Avodah
Before your next interaction with that person, say, “They can affect this. Hashem is still in charge of my life.”
Carry today’s avodah with you and return tomorrow.

What is Habitachon?
Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.
The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.
Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.
Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.

Build the Bitachon Habit
Begin with a guided seven-day journey, then continue growing with one short Habitachon lesson each day.
