Choose Work You Can Sustain
Source idea: A person should choose livelihood work that fits what he can bear and continue doing.
Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon
Your Hishtadlut Has to Fit a Real Human Being
It is easy to look at someone else’s schedule and decide you should be able to do the same. Rabbeinu Bachya says livelihood effort should take a person’s actual strength and abilities into account. He even points to work a person can keep doing over time. Good hishtadlut is not measured by how exhausted you can make yourself. It should fit the person Hashem actually made you.
Reflection
What part of my work am I measuring against someone else's capacity?

What is Habitachon?
Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.
The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.
Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.
Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.

Build the Bitachon Habit
Begin with a guided seven-day journey, then continue growing with one short Habitachon lesson each day.
