Bitachon Through Pain: Trusting Hashem When Life Hurts
Like a mother washing her child, what feels unpleasant can still come from love.
Chovot Halevavot – Shaar Habitachon
What Hurts Can Still Come From Love
Sometimes bitachon means remembering that something can feel uncomfortable and still come from love.
Rabbeinu Bachya compares it to a mother washing and caring for her baby. The baby may resist because it doesn’t understand what she is doing. The mother sees what the child cannot.
We don’t always understand why Hashem sends what He sends.
But we can trust the One holding us.
Reflection
Even what hurts is held in compassion.
Today’s Avodah

What is Habitachon?
Habitachon helps you build a daily practice of growing in bitachon: one Torah insight, one reflection, and one practical avodah, in about one minute.
The one minute is your daily minimum. The goal is not to finish more content. It is to return each day and gradually bring more trust in Hashem into real life.
Start with the guided seven-day beginning. Choose a dependable daily moment, protect the one-minute minimum, and then continue with the current Habitachon lesson each day.
Bitachon is a muscle. Habitachon helps you strengthen it every day.
