Advice That Stuck

When I was in college, I was networking with a high placed executive from Proctor and Gamble and he asked me why I thought a company should hire me. I had a great answer prepared but he didn't seem too impressed. I asked him why he wasn't impressed and he said something that I will never forget and is partially responsible for the direction my career took.

He Said:

"I would have said that while you (the employer) had to learn how to use a computer, I grew up with one in my bedroom and it is second nature to me."
